The practice of law has always been Rhayra Escamilla’s passion. She has a long history in the legal studies, beginning at the age of fifteen, when she was accepted to law school. In the years since, Rhayra’s dedication has been matched with experience in a wide scope of legal practice- her devotion to fighting for the rights of her clients is unmatched.
Rhayra’s career began in her home country, Brazil, in 2010, where she practiced for nearly five years with the firm Benites & Sanches Advogados e Associados. Later she went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Comparative Law from California Western School of Law, making then her transition of the practice of law into the United States.
Although her strong mind makes Rhayra a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom, she never loses empathy for her clients. For Rhayra, her work is all about helping others by ensuring they are heard, understood, and served justice.
Rhayra is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Rhayra is also a volunteer with the Brazil-Texas Chamber of Commerce, a group dedicated to fostering positive interactions and trade between Brazilian and American corporations.
In her spare time, Rhayra enjoys watching documentaries, traveling around the world, reading, and spending time with her family. Eventually she would like to learn how to dance, however that is still a venture to be achieved.
